Little Matthew
Another quick charm whipped up for a birthday gift. It could be used
as an ornament, a charm for a bracelet, or added to a necklace.
Measures 1 inch square and made from a cut microscope slide.

Friend - Made this from scratch "just because" I met a really sweet person who shares my interests in scrapbooking. Bought tiny coin envelopes from Red Lead Paperworks for the pages and wrapped plain chipboard with paper for the covers. Measures 2 1/2" x 3 3/4". November, 2006

Basic Grey's Lunchbox

Gather some paint, a few scraps of decorative paper, mod podge, and some wood letters. Add them to the lunchbox and you've got a great project. October, 2006

Day of the Domino

Tim Holtz... LOVE your techniques! Thanks Red Lead for teaching me how cool a domino could be. Just need to add the embellishments and they're done.

Contemporary in style, this guest album has clean lines. The simplicity in it's design makes it perfect for an elegant gift. I love Heidi Swapp rub-on lettering - easy and stylish! July 15, 2006

Paper Bag Album Swap

This is one of 4 albums made for a swap. The plan was to make one for each season. This one was kind of my favorite because I used my Sizzix machine for all the page tabs. Don't own a Sizzix machine? They're fabulous - buy one!!

Soldered Charm - Grandma Astroth, circa 1914

My printer was running out of ink as I printed this photo but I loved the distressed look it added. This piece is made from 2 microscope slides. March 2006

Thanks to my cousin Linda for another opportunity to create a shadow box. I tried a simple, but new technique, to make the photos of the house look old. Using Printmaster, I sized the photos to what I needed, converted them to black & white, and then added tiny text (month/date) on the right edge like photos once were printed. The finishing touch was inking the edges black and adding photo corners. March, 2006

This is the latest shadow box I have created. It's a thank you gift for my cousin's clients who purchased their first home.

This one's for my dad - an ATC (artist trading card) in his memory. I used a cool barcode font and scanned his actual Coke shirt to make the background under his picture. Adding the bottlecap made this ATC come to life. This project was for an ATC swap with a group from Paper Crafts Magazine, and I am anxiously awaiting the mailman's arrival to see what I receive from others. Jan. 2006

Midnight Stars

One of my New Year's resolutions is to finish projects that have already been started. One of the first I have tackled is this miniature quilt. It measures 25 inches square and is made up mostly of batiks - love them! Only thing left is to hand quilt my little beauty.
